1. Introduction

CertiG33k (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

2. Information We Collect

We designed the app to collect only what is necessary to operate securely and verify your subscription.

• Account Identifier (linked to your email): a unique ID associated with your email address, used to authenticate your account, manage entitlements, and provide support.
• Crash & Diagnostic Data: technical crash logs generated by the OS/app when a fault occurs (e.g., timestamp, app version, OS version, device model, anonymized stack traces). Crash reports do not contain your personal content.
• Payments & Subscriptions (RevenueCat / App Stores): purchases are processed by Apple App Store and/or Google Play and managed in-app via RevenueCat. We do not receive or store full payment card or bank details. We receive only non-sensitive information necessary to verify entitlements (e.g., product identifiers, receipt/entitlement tokens, active/expired state).
• Support Communications: if you contact us, we process the information you provide in your message and your email address to respond.

We do not collect contact lists, photos, precise location, microphone data, advertising identifiers, or unrelated analytics.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain, and secure the Service.
• To authenticate you and manage subscription entitlements.
• To troubleshoot issues and improve reliability using crash diagnostics.
• To respond to support requests and communicate service updates.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information only as needed to operate the Service:

• Service Providers: e.g., hosting/infrastructure, crash reporting (platform/OS), and subscription management (RevenueCat). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
• App Stores: Apple App Store / Google Play process payments and maintain purchase records under their own policies.
• Legal: if required by law or to protect our rights and users’ safety.
• Business Transfers: in the context of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

5. Data Retention

• Account & Personal Data: deleted when you delete your account from within the app (see “Account Deletion”).
• Crash & Diagnostic Data: retained only for the minimum time necessary to troubleshoot reliability issues; some records may also be governed by platform/provider retention (Apple/Google, RevenueCat).
• Minimal Internal Identifier: after account deletion we may retain a detached Database-generated document ID solely for payment entitlement reconciliation, chargeback handling, fraud prevention, or audit. This identifier is not meaningful by itself and is stored without your personal data.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, object to certain processing, or request portability. You can also delete your account directly from the app (see below). For assistance, contact privacy@certig33k.com.

7. Account Deletion (In-App)

You can delete your account at any time from within the application. When you confirm deletion, we remove your account-level personal data from our systems. Subscription purchases and receipts remain with Apple App Store / Google Play and RevenueCat under their own policies. We may retain a de-identified, internal Firestore document ID for reconciliation and security purposes as noted above.

8. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. While we strive for security, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside your country of residence. We ensure such transfers comply with applicable laws, using mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

10. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we discover such data, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or app notification.
